This Privacy Policy explains how Label Merge (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use this application.

What we collect

  • Label content you provide: addresses, barcode/QR values, optional text overlays, and any files you upload (for example, PNG/JPG/SVG artwork).
  • Generated output: PDFs produced by the app and basic job metadata (e.g., job name, label count, label size).
  • Technical data: standard server logs (e.g., request timestamps, pages visited, error details) used for reliability and debugging.

How we use your information

  • To provide the service: generate previews, PDFs, and downloads based on your inputs.
  • To save work you request: keep saved templates, address book entries, and recent job history available while the app is running.
  • To improve reliability: diagnose errors and monitor performance.

Where your data is stored

Label Merge does not store addresses in a database. Address book entries, templates, and recent job history are kept in memory while the application is running. Bulk address lists are stored in your session to move you through the bulk workflow. PDFs generated by jobs may be saved temporarily on the server to enable the results page and downloads.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your label content with third parties except:

  • Service providers used to host/run the application (if applicable).
  • Legal requirements if we must comply with applicable law or valid requests.

Retention

In-memory data (templates, address book entries, recent jobs) typically lasts only while the application is running and may be lost if the app restarts. Session data (such as bulk address lists) lasts only for the duration of your session. Temporary preview and job PDFs may be deleted periodically depending on server configuration.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.

Your choices

  • Remove data: you can delete uploaded files (where the UI provides a remove option) and manage saved templates/address book entries.
  • Access/correct: you can edit your inputs before generating labels.

Children’s privacy

Label Merge is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
