Both platforms use small variant images so shoppers pick color or style quickly — but specs differ. Always verify in each seller portal before uploading.

Variation themes (Color, Size, etc.) often use swatch-style images around 130×130 px. Images should be clear on white or transparent backgrounds where allowed.

Walmart

Walmart variant swatches are commonly 150×150 px squares. Consistent lighting and centered product crops perform best.

Batch both sizes

In Swatch Studio, check both 150×150 and 500×500 in batch mode to cover multiple channels from one source photo.
